Our Story

We met while studying metaphysics, and our shared interest and appreciation for self-growth blossomed into a deep love and marriage that is going on 17 years. Our dedication to living the spiritual principals we teach has helped us in all aspects of our lives, and so we continue to teach and pass on what has worked for us. We each had diverse experiences in various spiritual organizations before meeting, and neither of us were satisfied with the material and methods of teaching. So, we decided to create our own school, and the Intuitive School was born in 2002. We started with a physical school space in the Chicago area, and after 10 years we moved to 2 different states, prompting the need for us to offer online classes as well. Although we love teaching in person, we recognize the need to reach out online for folks that don’t live near us. Whatever format we use, we adhere to our promise to never influence our students into following a particular doctrine, religion, or philosophy. We aim to share our content in an open and honest manner, allowing each individual to make choices in alignment with his or her mission. Kathryn and Patrick Andries are veteran teachers, authors and public speakers. They have been studying and teaching metaphysical topics for over 20 years. They are co-authors of the book Naked in Public: Dream Symbols Revealed, published by Ozark Mountain Publishing.  Kathryn’s other books include Soul Choices: Six Paths to Find Your Life Purpose, Soul Choices: Six Paths to Fulfilling Relationships, The Dream Doctor and The Big Desire.
